Maha(Great) Kumbh Mela 2013 will be celebrated from January 27, 2013  to Febuary 25, 2013 in Allahabad(Prayag), Uttarpradesh State, India. Uttarpradesh Government has been made special arrangements at all Holy Bathing places in Triveni Sangam.

In view of Maha Kumbh Mela 2013, the Kumbh Mela Administration requested all visitors to preserve the Sanctity of Kumbha Mela and also provided some suggestions in the form of Do's and Don'ts. 
Do's

Please ensure your bathing spot at the Ghat nearby your accommodation.

Please help us in keeping the Kumbh Mela clean.

Please help us in safely conducting the Mela.

If you find any unidentified object, please contact Mela administration or the police.

Please follow the traffic rules and regulations.

Please help the lost to reach their destination.

Please throw garbage only in the dustbin.

Please wear clothes keeping the religious festival in mind.

 Please bathe inside the security circle.

Don'ts

Don't use plastic bags in kumbh Mela. 

Dont wash clothes in the river Ganga. 

Don't touch any unidentified object. 

Don't litter. Don't travel in a crowded boat. 

Don't encourage the beggars. 

Don't use soap while bathing in Ganga. 

Don't throw the worship material like garlands, pearls etc in Ganga.
