The temple has auctioned the public road around the temple for contract to collect Rs.50/-as parking charges for cars. This is according to the person who collects parking charges. An heated argument was held with him, but he said that this is as per temple orders. Here I don't know,, how a renowned temple can auction the public / govt. ,road to a private contractor for collection of parking charges ? So I forcibly to park my car in front of a house. That house owner objected and not allowed me to park my car, though that space is under parking contract.
What a strange that any one can auction the Govt., prooperty / road on contract to anyone. The parking man issued a receipt for Rs.50/- with sl.No.20, dated 11/07/2022 around 10.30 - 11.00 a.m. So any one go to Srivilliputhur Temple by car, please don't pay Rs.50/- as parking fee as there is no a separate parking area. They may ask you to park your car on public road in front of individual houses.

Temple listed phone number is not working, or if it is, no response. How many more people need to complain to set this right? Secondly, advance booking links for Darshan are ialso not working. At this rate, I wonder how the temple is functioning. Kudos to the
TamilNadu Endowments Department for their inefficiency ,,,
