Draksharamam Sri Bhimeshwara Swamy Temple Address, Timings, Route Map and Contact Telephone Numbers

Sri Bhimeswara Temple is the abode of Lord Bhimeswara and his consort Manikyamba.  Shri Bhimeswara Swamy Temple is located at Draksharamam, East Godavari District, Andhrapradesh, India. The main deity of the temple is in the form of Linga of 2.6metres height which is said to be of one large Crystal(known as Spatika Linga). 
The temple is popularly known as Dakshina Kasi Kshetram. Draksharama temple is one the Five Powerful Temples of Lord Shiva known as "Pancharamas" in Andhrapradesh.

The other Pancharama temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are 1)Sri Kshirarameswara at Palakollu, 2)Sri Bhimeswara at Bhimavaram, 3)Sri Kumararama at Samarlakota and Sri Amararama at Amaravati(Guntur District). Draksharamam is a rare holy pilgrimage centre. It is an ancient temple and the history of the temple is mentioned in many epigraphs aavailable in the temple.

Evening: 3:00pm to 8:00pm
But in every month on the day of Masa Shivaratri and in a year on the day of MahaShivaratri temple is opened all the time starting from 6:00am to 8:00pm.

How to Reach:
The temple is well connected by Bus Route Only. The temple is situated at a distance of 40KM from Rajahmundry, 28km from Kakinada Town and 6km from Ramachandrapuram. The nearest railway stations are Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Samarlakota Junction.
