Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, Srinagar will establish a Helpline Control Room in the office of Chief Executive Office of the Shrine Board in Srinagar for the benefit of Shri Amarnathji yatris. The Helpline control room will function  round the clock(24hrs) before commencement of Yatra and works till the conclusion of the Amarnath Yatra i.e August 29, 2015(Saturday).

Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2015 begins on July 2, 2015(Thursday) and culminates on the day of Shravana Purnima(Raksha Bandham) August 29, 2015(Saturday). In continuation, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board(SASB) announced the commencement of registration and registration process details. The offline registration process of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015 began on March 2, 2015(Saturday) simultaneously for both the Batal and Phalgam(Chandanwari) routes through 430 designated bank branches.

Amarnatha Yatra is arduous Yatra which involves climbing upto nearly 14,000 feet.  Trekking in the high altitude route to the Holy Cave is difficult and, besides, inclement weather also poses challenges for the pilgrims. Hence Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board advised Yatris to follow strictly Do's and Don'ts of Pilgrimage for smooth completion of Holy Sri Amarnath Yatra for the year 2015.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board(SASB) announced Online Booking of Helicopter Tickets details for Amarnath Yatra 2015. Online Helicopter Booking services commenced  on March 20, 2015(Friday) at 10:00am onwards. Yatris who wish to avail Helicopter Services for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015 are not required to seek advance registration through 430 designated banks.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board(SASB) announced the commencement date of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015. Normally the beginning date for the Amarnath Yatra is not fixed and it is not possible logically to maintain a fixed duration of the yatra every year. But, according to the ongoing tradition (Parampara) the ending date for the yatra is fixed which concludes on the day of Raksha Bandhan(Shravana Purnima) in every year.
